Actor from “María la del Barrio” shows his disfigured face

MEXICO CITY.— Osvaldo Benavides , an actor remembered by many for his portrayal of 'Nandito' or 'Fernandito de la Vega' in the soap opera “María la del Barrio,” sparked concern after sharing a video in which he revealed his disfigured face.

However, the actor, who appeared with his face visibly swollen, briefly revealed what happened to him and what caused his face to look “deformed.”

It was through his TikTok and Instagram accounts that the actor of soap operas such as: “Lo que la vida me ladrón”, “A que no me dejas”, “Daniela” and “Locura de amor”, published an “alarming” photo and a video this past Sunday, February 23.

In his posts, the Televisa actor showed how the right side of his face became swollen after a bee apparently stung him.

Osvaldo Benavides also hinted that despite his face being disfigured , he dealt with the situation with humor.

“You should have seen how she ended up… poor thing,” said the actor remembered for his role as 'Nandito' in the soap opera “María la del barrio.”

However, although the actor did not provide details of the incident he suffered , when responding to some comments it was learned that his health is not compromised and that the bite had no major consequences.

After clarifying that it was all a bee sting , the actor reassured his followers, as they were able to confirm that Osvaldo Benavides ' health is not compromised. Although it is unknown if he is already feeling better or if the swelling has already decreased.

After Osvaldo Benavides ' posts, his followers wished him a speedy recovery.

But they also suggested that he be more careful, since his eyesight could have been affected by bee venom, known as apitoxin , which, although it does not usually represent a serious risk to health, except in cases of allergic people, could have caused some problem if the bee stung his cornea.
